What is the best way to roll the rear fender to keep it from cutting my tire?

There is a guy on Atlanta c/l who rents them.
If you to cheap to get the tool, I've heard of people using a ball bat between the fender and tire and using a little leverage to roll the fender. You might need to raise the car some to get the BB in there. Just go slow. Only move it a little bit all the way arround then start over. If using a heat gun, keep the heat moving to avoid blistering the paint.
