I have a 95 vert. CAI,gears, h-pipe exhaust. How much do these chips cost and how many H.P;s do you gain?

Actually a "tune" reflashes the ECU, negating any need for a chip.
No one really uses those mail order chips anymore.

hard telling. Compared to a custom dyno tune +chip probably not much.
I'll post what I did in another thread on this same topic.
Look at it this way.
Say your car has a mechanical problem and you have two choices of trying to fix it. Explain what the problem is to the guy fixing it through e-mail and on the phone and having him order you the parts w/ out even looking at the car or taking the the car to a mechanic and having him see what the car is doing wrong and basing how to fix it from there.
Same thing w/ the chip. Having the car on the dyno the tuner can see exactly what is going on and what to tweek. A mail order tune will always be on the Conservative side b/c no mail order tuner will send you chip that will cause you to blow head gaskets or hurt your engine. With that said you could be leaving more on the table but on the dyno you can see how much more timing the car will take. With a mail order chip you could be leaving out 2-3* of timing and lots of HP on the table.
