post pics of said problems. i have a typhoon upper and lower and a pp tb. only problems from both of them was clearance of front plentum bolt underneath the curved part of the intake. on the tb the idle adjustment stop came loose and made the idle go up. big deal. still worth the extra savings to me considering i had less than what the edelbrock performer intake cost for both the intake and tb. not saying anyone is wrong for their feelings. im sure the eddy piece has much better quality control overall.

i don't get the hate. edelbrock is extremely pricey. they've gone up nearly 100%(double) in the last 10 years on their prices. We've run PP intakes on carb motors since they were available. There is a visualy difference in the smoothness of the casting but thats about it, there was no noticable difference in performance going from a crosswind to a performer rpm air gap(guy wanted their endura shite for a show car)

I'm a dick. I can't stand people standing on the shoulder's of someone else's hard work and nipping away at their ankles in profit margins.

I have no problem with competition, but a direct copy? I can't stand that.

thats why i dont purchase UPR products. they have bad business ethics... My father runs a small business, and twice now he's been screwed out of his idea (its a shipping company, so theres always more stuff to ship,) but its the principle... and i completely agree...

At least PP is smart enough not to make cylinder heads! LOL Unlike that other company Pro Comp Electronics which rip just about anything they can....ignition boxes, electric water pumps, distributors, cylinder heads, and now engine blocks?
