SCT X CAL QUESTION

Hey guys, I have an 04 gt and I just got an sct xcal 3 with the 93oct tune and i was just wondering if i can use the tuner to turn off my rear o2 sensors to get rid of the check engine light and if i can how do i go about doing that? thanks. :thumbsup:

yes you can and it should be an option.

I don't believe that is a user control option, it has to be done in the tune.

Anybody that does mail order tunes should be able to hook you up. Your local tuner might be able to send you a tune file as well. Have you ever had the car dyno tuned or are you running a canned tune?

I know Lasota can hook you up and will recommend them.

you can clear the check engine light with any xcal but to turn off the o2 you have to actually have it in the tune

no i've never had the car dyno tuned, and its a caned tune. i guess i'll call american muscle and talk to them about it.
