Hey Stangers
I was just wondering what you guys have done about the seat track problem which I'm sure almost everyone has had. I mean other than welding or passenger swap what else has been done? Are they any vehicles that you can can use the track from that will just bolt in? Or have you guys altered any tracks to work? i was just trying to get some ideas from you guys, when i bought the car it was broke so i got it welded now another section has broke. I'm just tired of flying into the back when ever i hit the gas. thanks guys

I have my old seat track for sale if you are interested ($125 shipped, bought new in 06). You could just buy 99+ seats and rewire their tracks to work. They don't break as much.

im going to call some junkies tomorrow, but whats the compatibility of the tracks? id be fine with just a manual one, but what year range mustang does it have to be from? is it a 94+ thing or 94-98 only or what?

they used an aluminum section in the 94-98 to save weight but they break alot, the 99-04 switched to steel and are much stronger if you want to try that as a swap option. I bought a replacement for @$50 but see them sell as high as $150.
