I am thinking of picking up a pair of 96-98 tails to put on my 95 and using this kit http://www.webelectricproducts.com/. Will I need to buy a 96-98 harness along with the lights or is the harness that comes in the sequential kit the same thing just with the sequentials wired in

Yeah I really like the horizontals but I want to change it up for a while. The only way I will go 96-98 is if they are sequentials or tinted.

IDK for sure but i think you'll need the adapter harness. I'm also with you on changing them to verticals, is if they are sequential AND tinted

I'm doing this right now on my car. For my kit, I wired it to the "Major" wire on each bulb on the 96 harness, I'm just having some issues because I am using LEDs and my flasher is freaking out. The kit you get should come with instructions, each one is different somehow, and it is pretty wordy. So just follow the instructions when you get it, and set some time aside for this cause it will take a while. Good Luck!

Why can't you just tint your stock tails? What I had done to mine:

I think they look great!

you can buy resistors that you hook up inline to the turn signal wires and that should fix the quick flashing problem.

If you are buying the entire kit, I think it is like 150 or something like that. If not, then you will have to get the 96-98 harness. I have done a couple of these and wired them myself and it was pretty easy. Just make sure all of your connections are really solid, chased a bad connection for a half hour or so.
