OK, I'm thinking of purchasing a shift light.
I DO NOT want a gigantic tach with a shift light mounted to it.
I'm looking to purchase one on a budget. Therefore, the raptor is out of my price range, unless someone is selling one CHEAP!!!
The ones on Ebay seem reasonable.

I plan on mounting it in a hidden location, so I only see it when the light's on.

So, what light do you have?
Any pics?
Do I need a tach adapter, or can I just simply wire in the light?

I have the last one from ebay. I replaced my dash clock with it, it's pretty stealthy. The control box is mounted in my glovebox. >:D

Very stealthy Sonic! I love it. the only thing I don't like about it is that the RPM selector doesn't have actual numbers.
I love your setup though.
I plan on mounting mine behind the driver's side center a/c vent

That's no problem. You step on the gas and watch the rpms until you have reached your desired rpm and turn the rpm selector to the point where it starts flashing. :thumb:

Well, I know that, it just seems kinda cheesey. But I still think that may be the one I go with.
You just need a positive and negative lead with that shift light, correct?

Correct.

One more question... Does it come with the cap to go over the light?

Thats a cool setup i like how stealthy it is i've got the huge shift light on the huge tach on top of my dash but that how i like it though it's amazing how much that light helps though when your racing.

Sorry guys, i forgot to update this thread.
I went with the same light that Sonic has.
Here's the pics of it installed.
These pics were taken with the flash. You can barely see it back there until the light comes on.

That is also a pretty stealthy spot. I probably would paint the housing black.

The only reason you can see the silver so well is because of the flash.
You can't really see it in there too well even in the daylight, well until the light flashes LOL
Besides, if I don't want ANYONE to see it, I can just shut the vent O0
