6200-6300. built motor/stock valvetrain

I seem to be getting a couple extra MPH in the quarter mile by shifting here instead of 6500. Thanks for the tip!

Shift 200rpm PASSED peak RPM in order to ensure perfect long powerbands in each gear and hope your T45 can keep up.

6800 seems way to high to me. theres no more power really to be had up that high. at least thats what my dyno graph tells me. and if you miss a shift... well yeah.

6200/6300 for me and when i shift, im still in the powerband for my next gear.

Untill its warm/operating temp it never sees more than 1800-2000. After that just driving around i run it up to 2500-2800 i guess.

you want to hold it out to a point where when you shift it will be more or less around the same hp. on a basic bolt on car:
1-2 7000rpms
2-3 6800rpms
3-4 6600rpms.
the difference in rpms is due to the different spacing between gear ratios.

What are you driving and what are your mods?
