that was with my bolt on 98 cobra. mods were 4.10/4.30/4.56 (yeah, had all of them), bassani o/r x, jlt intake, pulleys, tune. IMO all bolt on 96-98 cars should be driven that way. i'm now running 03 cobra heads, fr500 cams and fr500 intake through a t56 and i shift each gear at 7500Shame302 said:you want to hold it out to a point where when you shift it will be more or less around the same hp. on a basic bolt on car:

3-4 6600rpms.
the difference in rpms is due to the different spacing between gear ratios.
