Shifter bezel

well since my car is going threw a transmission swap i was wondering if i have to change the whole shifter bezel itself or can i just put a shifter boot on?

input please

Make sure you get the lower shift piece. It looks like rubber grommet style piece where the shifter pokes thru the center hole. I think its to seal off noise, fumes, or anything of the like lol.

K the tranny hump sits lower in automatic cars I actually changed the tranny hump piece on my car as well the tranny will sort of touch the bottom of the tranny hump right where the shifter bolts up. Some people just bend it up to get it done, I had a spare 5 speed shell so I just drilled out the spot welds and installed it on my yellow car.
