shifter?

A friend of mine has a 99-04 will the shifter outa my 95 fit his car? i know my trans is the t5 im just not sure if the t45 uses the same shifter? thanks for the help

Yeah it should fit, do a search on an aftermarket shifter for the T5 and you'll get T5/T45

96- mid 01 T45 IIRC
01-04 3650 IIRC

im not sure of the exact year FORD switched to the 3650.

Here ya go. This is the list of cars that have the Tremec TR3650 tranny. And I know for a fact these won't work on a t5.

alright so the 99-04s have the 3650? i thought they had the t45 from 96-04 and then they started the 3650 in the 05 and up. i wasnt sure and i still really havent got a stright answer?

As already mentioned

96- mid 01 T45

01-04 3650

So if it is off a T45 you can use it, if off a 3650 you are SOL

I've got a B&M that is practically brand new. I took it off my T5 when I sold it and swapped a 3550 in its place. Its been sitting on a shelf in my garage for a little over a year now. If you are interested, I can dust it off and send it to you for $70 shipped. (thats over $100 off the original price)
