I know this has probably been asked, but I'll ask again... I have Eibach Sportlines on my car, what brand of shocks and struts do you recommend? I have UPR C/C plates as well.

Thanks-Rachel

It all depends what you wanna do with the car, and how much you want to spend. I would suggest reading some of the numerous threads that we have here.

My car is a daily driver... I just want something that will help the ride of the car since it has lowering springs.

You could also look at the Koni Str.T, there similiar in price to the Tokiko HPS, just so you got some options.

I had blues, and they didn't even have enough rebound for my Mach 1 springs. They really are only slightly improved stock equipment. Koni STR-Ts have gotten good reviews from what I've read, and they might have a lifetime warranty like their more upscale products. I think that would be where I would look if I were you.

Mine rides great with C springs and blues. Very comfortable, little bit more bouncy than stock but no more floaty feel like the OEM stuff. Great product for the price.

Koni yellow DA's but you get what you pay for. Tokiko Illumina and Spec are VERY similar, I think the Spec has a slightly higher adjustment range and so you can run a little bit stiffer spring (in coilover applications) but its only by about 25 pounds or so. Koni SA's are probably the best in the 5-600 dollar range if you want handling, but for the street in that price range id probably look at the Bilistein HD's or MM struts, they will probably offer the best ride quality on the street, but wont be able to run as high of a coilover spring. For traditional springs any of those shocks/strut combo's should be able to handle anything you throw at it.

The Tokicos on the Bullitt/Mach 1 were specifically valved for their spring rates. The off the shelf Blues are only slightly stiffer than stock. I would not suggest them to anyone who plans on a spring rate much higher than stock.

Bringing the thread back- I have a few more questions(sorry)....

I am most likely going to go with the Tokico"Blues," so I dont have any questions about that anymore. Now, I am going to need to replace all the bushings and what ever else is under there that needs to be replace( since it is stock suspension with lowering springs(Sportlines) and UPR C/C plates.) When I drive it seems like every bushing has been shot and it rattles....I dont drive far to work or anywhere so I've let it go for awhile(which is a no no) but now I have gotten to the point where I want to fix everything NOW..So, what do you guys recommend, is it the bushings making the rattling sound when I drive(smooth streets, bumpy streets, etc etc..) Also, would the Steeda Ball joints help out- I have replaced the lower ball joints(both sides) in my car atleast once a year and I've had my car for 3 years.

I need to make a list of everything to get(I'm blank right now).. so if this has been a problem with your car or if you know what I am even talking about, please give me any info that would be helpful.

prothane has a whole bushings kit for everything. however, if on a budget id RECOMMEND the ford racing HD upper control arms.
