For shits and giggles, absolutely do it man! I took mine out with just the open catless H a few weeks ago and it was just absolutely hilarious, I have a feeling that you guys telling him not to do it haven't driven yours with open pipes. After I did it I just could not stop laughing about it, it was the funniest thing ever to just feel the entire car shaking from the exhaust noise and to hear it echoing for miles and miles and miles was absolutely priceless.

I knew someone would get pissed off by what I posted, I did only say that I had a feeling the neigh sayers hadn't done it, but as this is a forum I should have known I had to completely tip toe around saying anything that could possibly be considered smack talk against anyone else.

I'm not really sure what is "GAY" about having a little fun and driving one's own car around with a completely uncorked exhaust every once in a while, but whatever man you're the boss and whatever you say goes. I apologize for having an opinion, I now know that my opinion on this subject is wrong.

Hye bro you got your opinion and I got mine. You wanna drive around sounding like a farm truck that dropped the exhaust in the field jumping whoops....go for it. You pull up un corked....i'll be looking for a dump truck full of corn husks and the guy nailing his sister...if thats your thing.

wow.. cutouts to personal attacks.

ryclef doesn't like cut outs... ciotti thinks it would be funny for a few minutes. lets end it.

handz, if you want to have fun, do it. its only 50 bucks and your already under there anyways.

Its nothing personal...sorry if anyone interpreted it that way. Maybe I'm a little too "blunt" for some. I am just not one for more bark than bite...and I think open exhaust sounds like absolute garbage.

i think ry's and paul's opinions are quite humorous personally. the cutouts will make your car very loud but on mostly stock streetcars it will do nothing more than slow you down.

i also agree that open exhaust sounds like absolute rubbish.

i agree.. i think ryclef comes up with some very funny responses to people. and im not yelling at anyone either, it just seems like people are jumpin on each other and i think we should keep it down. if not though, carry on. my bad. :thumb:

I would rather have a great sounding exhaust that may not be as loud as someone elses but it sounds better( better tone and no crackling)

spend the dough and buy electric cut outs... insta sh*t my pants for grandma in the next lane

isn't that what he's talking about? the one's where you unscrew them are stupid as hell!

electric cutouts ftw, I'd probably get them if i trusted that they wouldn't break and were easier to put on/take off

I wouldn't even consider them unless they are electric. My pops has some electric cutouts on his 36 plymouth street rod, and I've gotta admitt it's pretty cool just running down the road then all the sudden being loud as heck at the push of a button.

We've actually got an extra set sitting in the basement but I still don't really want them in my car. I like the sound I've got.
