I liked what I saw in the "show off your toys" thread, so everyone post up what they roll on when four wheels is two too many!

here's my 1976 kz400 leaving me in the rain for the first time. it is torn down right now getting a custom wiring harness, followed by a new seat and tail section! bikes number 2 and 3 will be joining the stable over the next month or two if everything goes to plan.

It's a nice summer toy. Smooth ride and plenty of "get-up-n-go." I get a lot of compliments on it. I'm not really a fan too much of modern bikes or crotch rockets.

Nice. My room mate has a 900CC Virago that he's trying to restore. Pretty similar to yours I guess. The seating position is so much nicer than the crotch rockets.

I like the old Yamaha's too. A buddy of mine had a Yamaha XS 650 and that's actually what prompted me to buy my bike. I like the older bikes. The seats are nice. I don't like the whole "lean forward, feet back" position on modern crotch rockets.

some pretty cool rides. I'm honestly more comfortable on something where I can pinch my knees in and lay over it. I feel more involved with the bike that way, but to each his own.

Here's mine, 2003 Kawi Z1000. PCIII, Scorpion midpipe and cans, deleted secondaries, deleted airbox, UNI airpods, etc etc. I commute a lot on it and act like a general hooligan everywhere I go.

It's so much fun. Literally just crank the throttle at about 30 and it just sits right up and goes. It's ridiculously fun and comfy but the wind blast in annoying over 90. I really want to get a Triumph Daytona 675 for the knee down days and highway trips and just have this one for local-ish commuting and wheelies and whatnot haha. I don't know anyone with bikes that is happy with just one.

My last new bike...85 Honda Nighthawk S CB700SC....Bought it new back then...kept it from 85 til 2005. An incredible bike IMO....Only improvement could have been a 1000cc model! LOL....Hydraulic Clutch, shaft drive, anti dive forks (air assisted), adjustable configuration handle bars, 16" quick response tires front & rear,
80 HP, turned 12 sec 1/4 mile @111mph...same as the older Kawasaki 900!

Such a fun bike to ride... 500 mile days were no problem...perfect seating & the position was adjustable to suit most anyone. When I finall sold it it still looked like new at 25 years & 50+ k miles. I was offered $500 MORE than I paid for it at 20 years 0ld! Turned it down.

Shoot, I've had it over 150 multiple times. The wind is the only bad thing about it, but you get used to it really quick and it's not too bad in bursts anyways. But you can always tell how fast youre goin by how much that wind is hitting you.

It's a LOT more comfortable than any supersport. Fairings are nice but it'd be a toss-up on what I'd take if I had to choose. The seating position on the Z is really neutral and relaxed and with the Corbin seat, you can ride it for hours and hours and not be uncomfortable. I recently took it on about a 600 mile round trip a couple months ago. The only part that sucked was it was cold and I lost my facemask for my face hurt for most of it. A fairing bike would be nice for interstate driving but they get really uncomfortable after an hour or two.

Regardless, me and my buddy with his CBR600RR are planning a trip to Florida this summer on our bikes. I'm excited.
