Handz just remember that your brakes wont get you out of the trouble that your throttle hand can create, and never ride to impress anyone. The learning curve in the beginning was a steep one for me

I have been going really slow. Only been riding for 4 days now. I ride very easy. I know how to respect the bike because i have driven fast cars and know what the bike can do if I dont respect the machine.

I have so much respect for the machine I havnt even taken it on the highway yet.

Wrecked the Z1000 awhile back (washed out gravel from a driveway on a blind hill), and traded it as it was for this.

2007 ZX6R, track bike. Vortex rearseats (GP style shifting is fun), revalved suspension, jumper mod, and Two Brothers can. Been doing a ridiculous amount of bodywork trying to get these track plastics straight, hopefully it'll be done and painted within the next couple months and sold to start up saving for another Z.

Handz take a rider safety course if you havent already. pays for itself many times over.

duh, not going to take it to the track?

piester, that seat looks sweet but very angulated. how comfy is it?

here's my alstare. I want to add a cowl to the rear and I'm looking at exhausts now. my third bike isn't even worth showing yet!

duh, not going to take it to the track?

If I get it done, and save up the money, I may take it out but honestly, it's a little more expensive to get started than I'm really wanting to put in right now. My gear I have now is good enough for the street but I'd need some better stuff for the track. Then I'd need a way to haul it, better tires, some exhaust work, and a few other small odds and ends to get it fully track prepped. Would much rather get it painted, sell it, and save up that extra money I'd spend to get this one to the track and buy one I can ride everyday. I regret getting rid of my Z1000 more than anything.

edit: Love the Alstare BTW! Wish they'd bring back that paint job on a new bike. One of my all time favs.

I don't have the responsibility to ride a bike.... but I love ducati's look and sound, also like old school lookin cruisers like that 99 Yamaha in post 27 and the cool bike in post 35. Dislike Harley except the night rod

Well if we are showing off dirt toys too, here's my sweet 01 Husaberg with a 91 540 KTM 2stroke motor. It's pulled apart right now. Trying to find a hardware kit for everything and sending it to the powdercoated, and then 17's and street tires.
