Side Skirt Removal

Anyone got a pic of what holes I’m left with if i remove the side skirts ?

What do people usually do ? Just fill them and get them painted ?

There's about a dozen per side. Looks awful. Lots of welding to fill unless you roll a long patch panel onto the rocker

I wonder if you could get some color matched vinyl or just go with black and do a solid strip across it if it would be better?

now that I think of it how many times have we seen people take off their spoiler and then cover it with a color matched plastic piece? When its matched right as much as I hate them they do not stick out as bad as the holes do. Down that far on the car I don't see why this would not work even better.

Can the plastic clips that are holding it on not be just put back in the holes after removal ?

Its been a while but from what I remember even if they do not break when you pull it off(which they like to do) they are more made to hold on, not fill the hole

No, they are plugs with a bar that the skirt slots onto

Sure but it would look odd and Obvious that something is missing.

Or get a V6 94 - 95 trunk lid. No holes
