size tires on speedline rim

hey guys i got a 18x8.5 saleen speedline rim and i was wondering how wide i could go with them, i got nitto 275 on it now..but i would like to go wider...........

Would not recommend. Ideally you want tire section width be the same size as your wheel.

that is probably as wide as I would go on 8.5" wheels...maybe a small 285

Oh I'm sorry. I didn't even read. :wall: I run a 275/35 Riken tire, they are manufactured by BFG and BFG's tend to run big. Thats not to say that Rikens run big so I don't know about a Nitto.

speedlines are the shit.

I ran 275 falkens on my 17x8" torq thrust II's, and the tire guy said not to go any bigger, so your about at your max imo
