So ive been pondering it for a little while. My flowmasters are getting boring, so i want something a little more aggressive sounding and LOUDER, since im doing my 5 speed swap soon and ill be able to take advantage of that nice sounding exhaust.

I wanna go with either the LM1 or the LM2. I have a Mac o/r h pipe. which one should i get? if i have to, what midpipe should i switch out to? thanks!

get a catted X...IMO, dont go with SLPs, they sound horrible on 2Vs. the LM1s are basically straight pipe and the LM2s are straight pipe with a little bit of baffling. that is why they are called a resonator instead of a muffler.

I have SLP longtubes, SLP offroad x pipe, and slp loudmouth 1's. It can be loud, but just like every exhaust you can control how loud you want it to be. At wot it sounds amazing.

I personally feel like you would really like the change from flows to SLP. They will be quite a bit little and have more of a racecar sound and less of the traditional flowmaster sound which some people like. Here's a thread I just made about my exhaust setup.

Keep in mind though that you might think SLP with an offroad H is a little too loud. Even with my catted X I have to keep it down around in the neighborhood. Here are some clips of the reasons I went with SLP. Good luck with your decision. O0

FTMFW-- flows suck boo boo in terms of loudness.

LM1's sound like a Chevy Truck to me, but what do you expect from SLP since they specialized in Camaro/Firebird aftermarket until GM killed them so they jumped over to Mustang parts.
The LM2's aren't so bad but i prefer a Borla Stinger for a nice sounding loud catback.
