Hello!

I wish to change my lower control arm bushings but the cost difference with complete lower arms is small.

This is the daily driver list Rockauto has for my car.

Moog is somewhat cheaper than Mevotech. How is the Moog quality these days?

If my memory serves me, I do believe we had a discussion somewhere around here about lower control arms and their make, fitment, all over criticism. Ill search around, see if i can come up with its whereabouts, post up a link. And im sure someone will chime in with their knowledge too. We got alot of knowledgeable mustang dudes here!

Thanks for the link, good info there. :)

I think Moog is everything I need, easy to get and quite affordable.

Sure, no problem. It'll take a while though - around May...June - before we get to it.

I swapped to the Moog ones. I was concerned about the ball joint nut not having a cotter pin, but the OE arms were the same. I just put a paint dab on the nut to periodlically check for movement.

I guess I'll go with Moog from RA at for some reason the pass side is 47 and the drivers side 74 lol. With shipping it's $159 compared to the ACP with Oem bushings at LMR for a total of $184 to my door. That beats trying to get those bushings out and reinstall, even if they have a loaner press lol....

shit how will you know till you get them lol? I'll likely get the Moog arms from RA
You talk to them directly and get confirmation. Hell, I got my Moog front sway bar replacement bushings for my truck from Advance Auto of all places. First ones were Chinese. Didn’t fit properly. Second set I insisted USA made. They were and they fit perfectly. That’s how you’ll know.
