For the SN95 Mustang, there are kits to produce the retro sequential turn signal flashing-
There are the splice in kits and the entire harness kit you plugin and play.
- I noticed that both kits affordable but that the actual flashing sequence flash rate is to qiuck. Twice the speed as the retro cars and even the new '11 Mustangs.
-To correct the flash rate speed, I found and purchased a replacement turnsignal flasher relay that operates everything the same way except that it slows down the sequential flashing to replicate the newer models. Slows down maybe 50%. Gives it a nice 1, 2, 3, flashinstead of the rapid 1,2,3-1,2,3 flashing before.
Got the relay that just plugs in under the steering wheel in place of the original flasher relay.
~ Got it fom autotrix.net and smooths things out.
I just wanted to put that out there in case you have the sequential turnsignals and you think that they flash accross too fast and hyper. This rely slows it down to what Ford had in mind designing it.
Any questions, just ask. I will try and post a video example:

I have the sequential harness from American Muscle in right now. Got it a long time ago.
You remove (unplug) your normal turn signal relay located under the steering columm and replace it with this one. Turn signals, flashers still work same way just flash at a slower rate.

Go to www.autotrix.net and under 96-04 Mustang they offer it.

Hmmm..$65 for the splice kit or $170 for plug ins + $34 for the flasher. Suddenly I remember why I did the 3 brake light mod instead of sequentials, couldn't spend that kind of money for something I would never see and wasted it on go fast parts instead.

Looks good though

Yeah, That was kinda my point. This relay works with ANY sequential kit you have installed. You DO NOT have to get the sequential kit from them. Like me, I pait $35.00 for the sequential kit and then only baught the RELAY from these guys.
So: Total cost was about $60.00. (Sequential kit + This relay)
Again- This relay will work with ANY sequential kit you already have or plan to purchase.
Hopefully thats clear to everybody. It is just a turnsignal relay. You unplug the one you currently have and then plug in the new one- BANG, Your sequential 1, 2, 3 flash rate is slowed down significantly to a nice slow rate.
-~- Any questions just ask, I think everyone with sequentials would greatly appreciate the drastic change for the better. Go to YouTube and compare the flash rate of mine to some others that flas at a super high rate.
Hope that helps.

This is my point- Look at how fast these flash compared to having the relay installed. My video with relay is at top of page. See the difference.?.

I'm sure people will disagree with me, but...I just find that too choppy. I hate the way the new Stangs look, as the lights (I suppose because they're LED?) are quick but abrupt as they illuminate across. I like the look of the normal bulbs because they actually light up (almost "fade on") not just turn on, so a quick and smooth illumination with them looks best to me. Plus I think I'd go insane if the pace of the turn signal click inside the car ever changed.

Yeah, the LED thing almost EVERYBODY agrees with that, exactly how you stated it. The older incondesent bulbs like the ones we have "fade on". I didn't realize the newer model Mustangs had LED's in them. The relay pace does change, thats a fact but I never noticed a click or noise before. Just the green arrows flashing left or right are slightly slower. So the change never caught my attention but now that you mentioned it I bet I'm super sensative to it next time I'm in the car.
-As far as someone wanting to get a "splice in kit" or a "harness kit", I would imagine AM has the best prices. I buy everything that I've built my car up with from American Muscles e-bay site. They resell everything that gets returned. Sometimes a scratch or knick but most times "open box" never installed or used. Best deal I got was my 17" anthracite Bullitts for $160.00 because previous owner saw a pin hole divit on one rim.
So anyway, good luck with it!

got an extra set of lights I am doing that I am going to do that too if I ever get healthy. I am going to mount white stripe-leds across each of the lenses facing out directly to the red lense that will be the break lights and turn signals. I am going to mount another one on the very top of the lense, facing down so that it will light up behind the strip leds for parking lights. Not sure how it will look in the end but curious...

why do they have that long pause after the first sequence when you turn on the turn signal? that would drive me nuts.
Long pause? In my video or the new Edge that flashes super fast?? If its my car your asking about, all I can think of is the fact I was using the flashers, the brakes, turning left, turning right, and then mixing it up to show all the variables in a short amount of time. Could of been any of them or the fact I was turning on one function, stopping it, and turning on another function and so on.
Not sure exactly.

That seems like a wild idea. I don't remember at all how the break lights and driving lights light up stock AT ALL. I have had sequentials for sooo very long. Just a reminder that when you set up sequentials you rearrange the harness bulbs locations. The middle bulb moves over to the left, the right goes to back up and back up goes above trunk- No just kidding, but yes you do move them around to other tail light holes.
Just FYI.

I'm just guessing they are LED. Sorry if now you notice the change lol but maybe I used the incorrect term for the sound. I guess that's the "relay noise" or something?
