Somebody tried breaking into my car!!!!

its only 4 wires you need to connect.........

I saw a thing on 60 mins or some news show once where they showed a person with a key on one side an another with a coat hanger on the other and the guy with the hanger beat the key into the car 4 out of 5 times.

so like I said a person that knows the 4 wires and has a coat hanger could take your car quicker then you could imagine. If you do not have an alarm in your car I feel no sorrow for you when it is stolen or broken into. The times we live in almost dictate its need even if you are in a small town with low crime. A descent alarm will run ya 2-300 bucks and will scare off 90% of the theives out there.

At the very least you can add a flashing led and a simple but effective starter kill. When I am feelin extra paranoid in a bad area I just engage my starter kill by removing the cig lighter and then it will not even crank. I guess if the thief had an extra cig lighter plug he could take it then but I don't imagine them checking that if it doesn't start.

yeah i hear ya! i really need to with all the meths heads around... but that really cool with your car about how it wont start if you pull that out... my 03 cobra has a pretty good trick to starting it so im not worried about it but my 95 on the other hand....

I have a kill-switch on my stang but that wont stop a theft, when they want something they ARE GOING TO TAKE it.

If you're really concerned.. then pull the plug out of the middle of your distributor. I think it's the coil wire? Or at least it is on old cars, may be different now.
