Spark plugs! Opinions?

I'm going to change out my plugs within a few weeks but I'm wondering what brands you guys go with? I refuse to believe in and/or buy the 100K mile plugs. NGK or is that overboard? Think i should do plug wires too? car has 77K on it now, recent fuel filter purchase/change too

you dont have plug wires on your 99-04.

i have Autolite, which is the company who makes Motorcraft (Ford parts)

correct, you have COPS> If you feel you need to, get some nice MSD cops.

also, go with motorcraft plugs.

i have autolite 103's in mine.. they are one step colder than stock though

autolights..... ngk is crap so is champion... regular copper plugs work great... dont waste money on platinum or iridium... you wont notice anything different except a lighter pocket book

So autolites work fine, just the single wire? I called and they had single, platinum, and triples or something

just plain copper plugs... dont waste money on platinum or those 2 and 3 electrode plugs... waste of money... just a regular copper plug works the best...

Thursday I got Autolite double platinums...noticed a TSB (technical service bulletin) on the computer screen at PepBoys "New guidelines, gap .054" ...

I remember .065 gap...

I was hoping my 3500 stumble would go away, but not yet...

(new IAC, new plugs, new wires, clean MAF, fuel pressure @ 30psi...WTF?!?)

That's all that's left! When I get the $$$ for the 2 coil pacs I'll try it...

BINGO!! One of the Accell 4-packs was shot! I'm amazed I missed it. Now if I could just get it to idle a little smoother...

I have always used the NGK TR6's in my other stangs (mostly blown) and I just ordered some NGK TR55's
I heard they were really good, but it seems you guys are really against the NGK's? Could
someone please elaborate on the matter?...thanks, Hopefully you do not feel this is a thread jack!
