My car has been sitting for about a week now just b/c the weather hasnt been the greatest and i turn it on today just to take it around the block and its running a little rough. the only thing i have done is tighten the egr tube before the rain came last week. to add to this, the small wires around my coil are sparking and i cant seem to figure out why. I can only assume the random sparking and the rough idle is related but othe than that i know nothing.

you need to look at those connectors wehre they are sparking, check for wiring damage and replace the connector or effected wiring as needed then recheck operation...

I figured out the problem. The #5 spark plug wire wasnt connected to the spark plug. It was so embarassing.
