speakers

hey guys i got some nice speakers for the mach for christmas and they still arent in yet so i figured itd be a good weekend job. so, could i do this myself and what sort of tools would i need? any tips before hand would be nice as well.

I assume you have the mach system in there? Have you replaced the deck yet? Are these front or rear speakers you are thinking about?

If i remember You got the Infinity Kapas Correct? They are not hard to do yourself. Just take your time and if your not sure dont just keep pulling

Which ones are you replacing?

tweakers by the windows are staying in, should be the two on the doors and the two under the rear window. if its not too hard ill do it this weekend

You DO know that the OEM mach 460/1000 speakers are 6 ohm, and your new speakers are 4 ohm, right?

They are going to cut out at higher volume levels.

Hes just saying that the resistance is different.

Yeah, the resistance is different and your new speakers will overheat and turn off randomly at higher volume levels.

Either you need to use an aftermarket radio/amp, or keep your stocker speakers.
