This is the 2nd one i received with just 4 bolt holes.. so im guessing it doesn't come with any mounting hardware. So now im wondering how did you guys bolt this thing onto your car? What type of bolts did you buy? What size?
thanks

Was your s281 from specialcarbonfiber or american muscle??]

Mine was too, and it was from specialcarbonfiber place.
Just wow. My luck with them has been terrible. Wrong studs could crack this thing because the stock ones are a certain length so the bolt didn't tighten this much. Unless they stopped supplying hardware.. I have the worst luck in the world with these guys

this might be the redneck way but if your bolts that you buy are too long, then get some washers and use them as spacers.

put the studs in with some locktight red and let that set up and it should not be a big deal. Pretty sure I got it from SCF but it was a WHILE ago.... Ace hardware, $3 and you will be ready.

The ace I went to last week didn't have anything for it. Neither the menards. Guess I went to some crappy stores

Ace's nut/bolt isle(isle 15 at my store) is one I find myself in often, holding some odd piece trying to match a connector up to it and rarely not able to find something. OFten I walk out with a small dime bag of connectors that still somehow cost me $10 but doesn't get me near as high....

 Ya kind of sucks walking around with a huge wing in your hand though. Just wish this company would get something right completely though.

If you cant find any studs just buy yourself a threaded rod and cut them to whatever size you need. They dont need to bottom out in the spoiler just as long as you have a good amount of thread in the spoiler then just throw a nut on the trunk side and you're done.

just buy some bolts and some nuts. Measure how long you need the studs and then put the nut on the bolt all the way down. Use a cut off wheel to cut to length then take the nut off and it will remove any nub/burrs left.

I have carried everything from 10" 15 lb speakers in there to gauges, they don't look at you funny for more then a sec....

damn dude, did you ask them where your mounting hardware is? I'd have them send you some.

I did email them and he said i need 1/4 bolts and he can send some. But anyway im tired of waiting on these guys. Why wasn't the bolts sent with either of the 2 wings they sent me?? I mean you telling me i have to wait another week just for some BOLTS that should've been supplied in the first place if everyone else here got them with there order. I'll have them send them, but i was hoping to find something in the stores, but no luck so far. I ordered this wing last month... and still can't get it installed because screw ups that aren't my fault.

it's a bummer man I think we've all been there at some point, just how it goes sometimes. Me personally I'd want them to send them just out of principle at this point.

Nothing to make a nice clean metal cut, but maybe my bolt cutters can cut a 1/4 inch thick rod without screwing up the end.
