specialcarbonfiber's S281 Saleen Spoiler = JUNK

So I ordered a S281 Spoiler from specialcarbonfiber on ebay. A few people on here said they were OK. I got it and received it. But I received it damaged. They assured me that it was perfect when they shipped it and that it was a fed ex problem. They sent fedex back to pick it up and sent me a new one. I just received my new one yesterday and it's even worse than the first one. So I denied the package and had FedEx take it back right away.

So now, I'm getting no response from them. Not through ebay, text or phone call. Which I do have all of them.

Come Monday, if I don't have an answer, I'm taking it up with ebay and paypal and I'm getting my money back. I'm so aggravated.http://myworld.ebay.com/specialcarbonfiber/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

this blows, if you haven't received one in good condition though how could you say it's junk? It sounds like it's more of a customer service issue at this point, and hopefully the ones they sent you are being damaged during shipping and not the company being a piece of shit and sending them like that.

well, from where the were damaged. I could see the first one being caused from shipping... The second one the whole mid seem was split and half the wing wasn't recoated. Looks like they fixed a damaged one and sent it back out unfinished.

They can't be responsable for the throwers at fedex. Have you seen the vids of the deilivery people just throwing parts off the trucks? They sent you a 2nd one, I have no doubt they will take care of you just hold tight this is the holiday season and everything is delayed.

^^ what he said. The holidays are bah-ru-tal for getting through to people. The wing I got from them late last summer was just fine.

I have a very small ebay store and I can relate to dealing with bad shippers. There are people that do shitty work in any service, so it's not surprising when you get someone that doesn't give two shits whether your package arrives correct or not. If specialcarbonfiber does his best to make things right next week, then you should cut him some slack. I know it's annoying, but it's ridiculous how much work and time goes into having an online store.

You're not paying retail so you can't expect the same quality, that's not what you're paying for.

I think what people do not understand is that the majority of it is automated now, but because of this the products have to be able to take 5-8ft falls, other things falling on top of it, ect. Then they go cram as much of it in a plane as they can. I was actually suprised that mine came with out any damage when I ordered it. Let it go till monday/tues, let people come back from their travels to see family and friends and let the hang-overs clear up and you will probably have a 3rd one on your way before you know it..

If they haven't responded you have to keep in mind it is New Year's Eve. And just last week I was standing outside watching a UPS guy chucking boxes off the truck onto the curb, so they really don't handle items with care. Something probably happened to it during transit. I would just give them a few days. Monday is technically holiday since New Years falls on a weekend, so maybe Wednesday or Thursday is fair.

Yeah, I'm given them until january 3rd to reply before I do anything. I'm just frustrated b/c it's been awhile and as of now I'm out the money with no product.

bummer dude. I think they'll fix it for you just like people said the holidays are a mess for businesses.

Sorry dude, I know waiting sucks big time. I would be just as frustrated or more, very impatient myself. I have an exterior piece and an interior piece from him and they are top notch quality. He gave me the armrest for cost of shipping so I know he can be reasonable. Hopefully it will work out really nice shortly. Good luck-

If you know someone with a business have it shipped there. Ive noticed that stuff I order and have sent to my shop is always in better shape than stuff sent to the house. Have yet to send anything back since (knock on wood).
