No, you have a mechanical speedo. You need either the speed cal ($100) or you can get a drive gear (like $15) and have your speedo be off 1-2 mph

Change the plastic gear on the end of the speedo. cable in the transmission. Cheap and easy.

if they make the right gear... 3.55 (sold by steeda) was the largest ratio speedo gear i could find.

so now i have a new problem, I went to go install my new odometer gear and when i pulled the cluster out it was rigged as fuck, i also noticed that there was some areas in the circuit pad on the back of the cluster that were burnt...and to top it off the odometer gear wasnt even broke like i had thought, but i went ahead and swapped them out anyways.....so i guess my new question is could i just get a used cluster from a 94-98 mustang?

i think a cluster from any 96-98 will work. it just wont be as pretty and your odometer will not be the same

in case you want to use the 94-95 you might have to rewire somethings.
