Speedo help

i was driving home from school one day and my speedo dropped from 60 to 0 and hasnt moved since. ive tried replacing fuses and i replaced the sensor that goes into the transmission. my only other guess would be the gear behind it maybe? car is a auto 94 gt stock gears. also idk if this is in any way connected but my power seat doesnt work and neither does my cruise control (probably because the speedo isnt working) but still just trying to gve all the info i can. any ideas would be really appreciated. thanks guys

Sounds like you have seperate problems.
Did your CC work before the speedo died?
How did the plastic gear look when you replaced the speed sensor? (vss)
Your pwr seat motor is likely shot. make sure you have pwr going to it.

yea i was just unsure because some of the things were linked together by fuses. anyways my cc did work and the sensor actually looked just fine.

if your cruise and speedo don't work then look at the vss or plastic gear attached to be the problem.
Your plastic gear on the back of the cluster could still be bad or not far from going bad.

Does your cigarette lighter work? If not, you could of blown the fuse. If it does work pull your seat and look for cut wires. Somehow i pinched one of the wires to my lumbar which shorted out the seat.
