My speedo is off by what i cant figure is about 20 mph. The guy who had it before me changed the gears and forgot to mention what he replaced them with. Ive been told that i need to take it to a ford dealer and have it reprogrammed for the new gears and i wanted to know if that is true or if theres a way for me to do it. Any info will help me.

If you have 3:55 gears then all you need is the 23 tooth VSS gear.
If you have 3:73's or 4:10's then see above.
