Is there a VSS that would make this error correction? These rims and tires put me at about 10 mph faster than the true speed

The VSS is the Speedometer Pickup that attaches to the transmission. There is no calibration for the VSS itself, but on the end of the VSS is a small plastic speedometer gear that is replaceable with gears of various tooth-counts that result in the calibration of the speedometer WITHIN LIMITS.

To slow the speedometer down you would need this gear to have more teeth on it. It is possible and very likely that there is no gear available to accomplish this for you. Thus an electronic Speedometer Calibrator device (as mentioned somewhere above) may be needed in order to properly calibrate your speedometer.

What is your rear gear ratio from the factory?

It's not that complicated. Just look up and tell us with which rear gear ratio did your car come from the factory. :)
With thst info we can find out which vss gear you have now and calculate which gear would correct your speedometer reading.
