Been debating on what spoiler I should get. I think a spoiler will be my last exterior "mod" besides painting my calipers and having my rear lower valence (on the rear bumper) vinyl wrapped. I'm thinking maybe a S281 idk yet. Could anyone p/s a s281 on my car using this most recent pic of how my car looks?

It says it comes in a black gel coat, does that mean it needs to be painted or I can get away with just throwin it on?
don't have to paint it, but it won't have the same glossiness your paint will i don't think. it looks fine as is from a distance, but mine came with a few scratches on it and the sides aren't coated. you can kinda see it in this picture

Ahh. Well I could just put it on and eventually get it painted lol. How do you like the fitment from this place?

fitment was far better than i expected it to be for the price.

X2

I was skeptical but took the chance as it was only $100 compared to the $250+ kaenen that would need painted

I had one of the early ones that needed to have the holes redrilled but I think they have now fixed that

Thanks guys. Fitment looks really good and for $135 shipped I can't go wrong. This is gonna be the next thing I buy, my car really needs it lol. Stock spoiler looks good but whenever I look in the rear view it can be annoying lol.

I had trouble installing mine simply because i had to drill the trunk lid holes. i can't speak to the fitment of the stock holes because of that.

i warmed the spoiler up to 90 degrees and flexed it better. I did have to elongate one hole bit other than that fitment is great.

a fruit for thought! get some rubber grommet fittings to go over the holes to help with water... i did that to the hole i made because i a couple of water drops in the trunk from washing my car with lots of water. other wise durring rain storms no water issues

Sounds good lol, did you paint yours or leave it as the black gel coat?

Throwing a couple coats of wax on it helped it get a glossier look also
Was waiting to see if someone said this, I'd definately put some wax on it
go s281 if you want to look like everyone else! get some saleens wheels to! lol
Lol that's cause the S281 looks the best imho. :)

I like the xenon spoiler,,, flushed mounted look and not too crazy obnoxious looking, I m not into the look of the the s281 wing from the from and side view.. from the back its looked really nice to me ,.. to each there own though and get whatever you like and ignore who has what etc..

im sorry typo,, from the front I meant to say.. sorry
