are isolators required for lowering springs or can I leave them off? I'm looking to get new suspension for my mustang when I get my taxes.

Not required. The drop will be more without them, though some experience noise with them removed.

Sometimes you get noise, other times you don't. I found wrapping the bottom and top coils in electrical tape helped with the squeaking you get from not having iso's. It creates a very thin iso-like surface that actually took away the minor squeaking I would get. Just something to keep in mind

I put urethane iso's on mine, not going to gamble with them making noise
