I've had a Steeda, Hurst, and a Pro 5.0 int the Foxes I've had. I've done searches and everyone says BUY MGW!!! But "why"? I hated the Hurst, Steeda was ok, and I loved the crisp feel of the Pro 5.0. Does the MGW have a smoother shift? Like I said, ive never had one and $180 is a little steep to test one. But if its THAT much better than all the others, then I'll get one. I just want one that shifts smooth 2-3 and 3-2 shift. The pos I have now just Clunks.

I had a mgw in my 03 cobra, had pro 5.0 in my fox, hurst in my sn95, and prob a few others at some point. I've prob owned most of them over the years. No night and day difference between any of them. MGW you have a little more adjustment concerning the handle position.

Well.. the shifter itself is perfectly quiet, smooth, doesn't do any weird stuff etc etc. Some people seem to like a different feel in it or something for some reason though so they get the Pro 5.0. I love my MGW. My only complaint would be that the shift is a bit too short for my tastes. Really quality piece though.

I'm running a MGW and love it like everyone else, but I haven't used any other short shifters in mustangs besides the steeda. As ram360 said, the mgw gives you good adjustment compared to the other brands. I would definitely recommend it

Looks like MGW for the win, lol. I didn't really like the Steeda. And in a Fox you don't really have to reach for the shifter bit in these, not so much. I think the extra adjustability will be better.
