Alright guys so i FINALLY came to the decision of what rims (racing) i want to get for the Mare. I've decided to get the Ford Performance M-1007-R1810 and M-1007-R18105 which are the Boss 302R and 302S racing BBS wheels. So now my question for those of you experienced with offsets and such. The fronts will be 10 (302R) while the rears will be 10.5 (302S), but since the s197 offset is usually fairly sunk in on our car what would be recommended for the front setup since i want to stay away from running a spacer up front larger than .25in (frpp recommends .25 spacer on 302R racecar to clear brakes, but obviously this is for the s197). In addition to that after some talk with B.mad i may be picking up a special part he bought and has been holding on to. Deets on that for another time.

I will be getting ARP extended studs all around but does anyone have any idea what i can do with the front rims to avoid a obscene amount of grinding and not fitting ness? I dont know the offser on the rims but the backspacing is 7.2 for the R

I don't know the answer as I'm not experienced enough but those wheels are bad-ass!

Why are you planning to do offset wheels by the way?

This thing is bad ass, nice work. I had to run pretty large spacers when I went to the GT500 wheels, but that was so long ago that I'm not entirely sure what size they were. It all came with the vintage venom kit to run the GT500 brembos.

why thank you good sir! i may actually be getting the bbs' all set to go. just a nice sum of money for them. i found out i will need to be running 15mm in front and 30mm in back which i already run 25mm so should be much of an issue especially when i upgrade to the 99 04 rear

Teksid 3V: anyone done a 3V swap who can help?

As some of you may know through my signature that for a while ive been wanting to do a Teksid build. Ive been in communication with friends off the site to employees from companies like MHS and also people who ive seen do the swap. As much as id want to build a 2V i just think it will be too much work and too costly for 350rwhp N/A, so im planning on doing the 3V, N/A, 350rwhp. Anybody who has any good leads or knows whats required for that swap?

Holy poop...408w?...damn....DO IT

Trust me, its very tempting. If i do it, the entire car will get stripped of everything except door and tail light harness'. I'd go strictly aftermarket on the body harness, Megasquirt3 pro efi and the twin 76mm turbos. From my research i can do 800-1000rwhp on a stock 351W block on E85 with a conservative tune and good internals.

If you'd want to swap your entire car over to 99+ setup (including a cobra gauge cluster, X4 tuner and everything needed drivetrain wise) i can make you a good deal. My car is likely getting stripped and thrown on a chassis Jig and rotisserie before it'll be driven again once it gets stripped.

$7k in EFI and electrical, $7k engine, $3k turbo, $3k fuel system, $10k chassis, $5k paint/body. The car will be down for awhile.

Yea... probably 3 years minimum at the current rate. I need to upgrade to the left seat at work to get the $39/hr pay raise toay for the entire project. Which kind of makes me want to keep the 3v motor and just throw a oil pan, cams, valve springs, intake and a see how much HP i can make out of a stock 3v longblock before it goes. Ive seen a few reports of stock 3v's doing 8xx HP at the wheels through a manual and C16, so its possible. With E85 it should be even easier.

Not a forgotten project, just a side tracked one.

I don't think I ever followed up with you on the BBS's but you were you planning on getting them from Kohr Motorsports? Cause they have both the 302R and 302S's wheels on sale right now.
