Head buying question

So guys I got the opportunity to buy a set of pi heads and intake with cams for 200. Catch however is one of the heads doesn't have a lifter. Would it still be a good deal to buy them and get some aftermarket lifters and such from say MMR? I want to know what you guys suggest before I decide to pull the trigger. Regardless I will take them to a head shop to check the flow and valve job n such. Maybe get them polished and ported too. Gimme yo thoughts

Probably not a big deal but want to check everything out first. Wouldnt be a bad idea to change the valve seals and guides while youre there. Inspect thoroughly, why is the lifter missing...so on and so forth. Are they pi cams? I forget his name but the guy on here waiting on money for a cobra has cams for sale as well. Might be worth pming him.

They're from an 01 romeo block. Guy said he put ported heads on the car and sold it so I guess he had some of the lifters springs etc moved over. Idk but I'd be upgrading everything I can now as they'll be off the car and easily accessible

Got in some track time yesterday at Thunderhill for Track Night in America presented by SCCA and tirerack. Now I get to put on more stickers! Yay! Ordered some more stickers plus my new fender badges. Also maybe picking up some great power adding parts Sunday. We shall see

Lol, it was so fvcking hot out there Dmitry...I had a headache for about 10 minutes after my first run

Yeah Frank, you gotta stay hydrated man. I usually start hydrating a day before. If you're not drinking a small bottle of water between each session, you will dehydrate and get exhausted. By the time you feel your lips getting chapped and that scratchy throat, the dehydration already set it, and you're not functioning the same.

New emblems should be here tomorrow and hopefully my next decal as well. Got in my thunderhill decal and 200k+ decal yesterday and got them on. The 200k+ was WAY bigger than I thought so I put it on my passenger side window since it was the only one without a decal

Wait until you feel the difference of the subframe connectors! I'm surprised you don't have any on yet! Car is looking stellar btw :headbang:
