so im waiting for B.mad to send me pictures of the event but here is what i have from El Toro

the one and only time i will EVER be in front of Brett


and here is all 3 runs. first run (complete shit) my rears werent warm enough so i basically drifted all of the first slalom and grinded first. second run i had an awesome launch but DNF'd because i missed the last cone in the first slalom. and final run was my fastest but again in the first slalom i hit 3 cones. by the end of the runs i found out i could do the whole course in 2nd which really surprised me because i got dem 410s yo.

and since i figured some of you may ask here is that awesome 16 viper acr

oh and just so you guys know we had a mini tornado on the course. dust blowing everywhere... it was 100 degrees and there were HUGE tumbleweeds flying on the course

Doing a bit work on the car this weekend. Mostly preventative checks, and getting new tires, because the old ones had a cut in one. A few of my other friends are coming as well, mostly BMWs. And Brandon needs to get his car running.

youre telling me..it was kinda funny seeing it on the flat bed saturday night hahah. i need to get some "new" tires too... mine are getting real close to the end of their life

My first run i was using 3rd second run i found out I had just enough gear left for 2nd so I ran the last 2 in 2nd gear. Was basically red lining though

Most people tend to run in 2nd for the entire course. I think sometimes..sometimes...brett madsen will get into 3rd. I want to eventually get into road racing; shifting gears is what worries me

Yesterday was the first track day of the season as well as the first track day for FJD Performance. We had a tough time getting fully prepped on saturday for sundays event as we ran into some braking issues and a huge thanks to lwarrior1016 for helping me out in my time of need. As for the track and car itself I was very surprised by how the car handled. Our fastest lap on Sonoma was a 2:19:XXX and that was on a caution and not pushing the car 100% as i had in previous sessions, and earlier in the fourth sessions (fastest was at the end of the day). The car had no under or over steer and the rear didnt get squirrely at all. On our fastest lap coming out of the last big turn the wheels did spin for a second as it lost traction, but it still resulted in our fastest time. We were constantly hitting 90mph on the course and i think we may have hit 95 out of turn 6 going into 7. The last turn (right before the tires slipped we were almost always entering at 90mph.

Tell me about it! As soon as i got on track in that fox i knew if i didnt fix my brake issue the day before i definitely would have gone off track and possibly died
