hey guys i wanna get a new steering wheel for my vert but idk what to get...im thinkin the FR500 wheel that we all know and love OR the FR500C. i found it on american muscles website what does everyone think? :dontknow:

I have the FR500 & love it!! For the longest I didn't, not sure even why? I like the way mine looks though. It goes along good in my 2 tone color look, I think.

They call it charcoal but it matches my black interior pieces just fine.

I got the charcoal seats recently from a 02, but it kind of bugs me that they don't match my black interior 100%. I'll take your word for it thanks

Whats the difference between the FR500 and the FR500C?

The 500 looks like a stock wheel but with thicker padding. The 500c is a racing wheel with no air bag. You can find some pics on American muscle

on AM, it says that the fr500c fits 2005-2009 mustang. Are you sure it'll fit our car?

They just say that because FR catalog says it. In reality it's just nothing more than a universal Sparco Racing steering wheel. All you have to do to use it, is purchase one of their Mustang specific steering wheel hubs.
