Are you lifting when you shift? Pull your filter? Bet you you'll gain your 10th from those alone.

What pressure are you running? Do you check them in between passes?

Yep I lift between shifts, I would power shift but my tranny is weak enough as it is lol. I've never pulled my filter before, because of all the dust/rocks at the end of the track.

I run 11psi in the rears, and I check/adjust em before every pass.

Mine is in the engine bay so I don't have to worry about that, and I also pulled the pass headlight out at the track. I hear you about the lifting...I would be too antsy though. Damn thats just TOO close! Why is it only 1.7 60 footing? What tires/suspension are you running? I'm assuming you've pulled the front sway?

I'm running Mickey Thompson drag radials. My suspension consists of:

PA Racing Tubular K-Member
Steeda X2 Ball Joints
Strange Adjustable shocks
Granatelli Coil-Over Springs
Granatelli Subframe Connectors
UPR up/lwr control arms

I've never taken off the sway bar for the track. I think a 1.7 is pretty decent. It'll get better over time though.

You should be pulling 1.6, what rear gear? If it were my car, I would pull the pass headlight/filter and front sway, and drop the tires to 9-10 psi. That'll give you at tenth in your 60' as it is.

I have 3.73's. There's no point in pulling the headlight, my intake is all the way down in the fender.

Very nice run and cool vid. 11's are so close!!

FYI, I removed my front sway-bar yesterday and now my car leans to the front drivers side. I'll be putting it back on tonight.

Unhook your sway bar from one side and your car will launch much better. Are you running the radials or et streets? Im not a big fan of the radials, the et streets work much better for me. Were you running full interior?

Maybe i'll try that next time. I'm running the radials.

And yep, full interior + cage + two 10" subwoofers and a big sub box in the trunk lol.

Get your 60' into the 1.6's and you will get 11's

I had the nitrous delayed for .1 seconds from the realease of the line lock. I'm thinking if I spray it from the get go i'll get a 1.6
