I like the 3.73's myself - great all around.

Remember..too much gear and you'll run out of it.

I guess I should have read the original post more carefully! As for times, I have no basis for comparison, but I will say it is like night and day. Drive the crap out of the car right before you do the gear swap. Then take it out for another spin after completion. The difference is tremendous and is the best "seat of the pants" gain you can do leaving a car otherwise stock. You will NOT be disappointed! :headbang:

cam and headers first ? no man do gears first you wont really feel any gain at all with a cam and gears on a stockish car.

go get the gears you will definatly feel the difference compared to your cam and headers you will get what 10 hp gain lol

Good a definite upgrade to those E7's...

GT40's can go a long way. Throw a Crane 2031 cam in with those heads...you will be happy.

I went from 3.08s to 3.55s and picked up .4 in the 1/4 mile, could have picked up more if I had more time to run too.
