Hi all,
This may sound a bit odd, but does anyone know if the AC in a 1994 V6 is designed to stop working when low on fuel?
I was well into the red (I know, I know!) on the fuel level and the AC just wasn't putting out any cold at all. Like it for a few short journeys as I hadn't filled up (I know, I know!!).
However, once topping up again to half a tank I have cold air coming through once more.
My Jaguar X-Type has a feature that if the windscreen washer is less than 1 litre remaining the wipers don't automatically go on when you spray the squirt, I guess so you don't use so much.
Just wondering if this was a similar set up to save fuel or just a bizarre co-incidence...
Thanks in advance for any responses / thoughts.
Regards
