Stripped Water Pump Bolt.. HELP!!!

Ok everything was going smooth till I get to the last bolt on the very bottom of the pump. It is the hardest to get to since the crank pulley is right infront of it. Impossible to reach with a socket since the area with the RED arrow wont let a socket sit flat. The green circled bolt is the one I cant take out. and the BLUE point arrow is also the part thats in the way of me getting under the bolt. Anyone ever have this problem?? Any ideas or solutions? Also I was wondering if its just those four bolts holding on the crank pulley, and if its a good idea to remove that? Thanks

I ran into that problem too, and then I took off the crank pulley lol

Ok will do! LOL But I dont need any special pulley pullers or anything.. Id just hate to fix one problem and end up with another one by messing with the crank pulley :BangHead:

But if its as stright forward as the water pump pulley its coming off tomorrow! Thanks guys!

removing just the crank pully is no problem, just the 4 bolts. The thing the pulley is bolted to is the harmonic balancer, and that requires a removal tool.
You should also inspect the HB to make sure the rubber isn't deteriorating and/or about to fail.
