aluminum wap block out of an explorer. its had machining done before i bought it but you couldnt tell its been in a vehicle. mainly deburred. i found it locally for 200 bucks with stock rotating assembly. it had flat top pistons and billet main caps. im punching it .020 over and i thought about a main girdle but i was advised i dont need it. my main goal is 400 and realistically i can get it. im putting an intercooled v-2 sq on it with 42lb injectors and my built heads. i also have the reichard racing intake manifold so up top of the revs is where my power will be. next is fuel system and 31 splined axles.

THAT SOUNDS SICK. i wanted a wap block but no one had one that was cheep enough and decent shape. we had one here at work but i found it was pretty well roasted so im going a different route now but def gonna be where you want for numbers, were you saying 400 NA or 400 F/I

forced induction. im going to keep the boost low and moderate until i get a new tranny. the t-45 wont take much more. ill be looking for a t-56 or tko-600. i cant part with a manual because i like rowing my own boat. i was spanked last night by a termy and lightning and i need to keep up. hell even a bullit whooped my ass in this old slug.

a t45 is alot stronger then you would think. if you get them built with good shift forks and quality syncro's i think you will be more then happy.

and a stock 02 gt with an exhaust and ysi made over 420rwhp with no tuning and about 12lbs

i was also looking @ promotion t-45.... 12lbs of boost was my idea but intercooled maybe 10lbs. with the wap block and tubed k-member/a-arms i should be able to giddy up quicker. ive been stock piling forever and recently full swing into it. my suspension is pretty good right now. i need to empty my storage area. then i can paint the ole girl. she needs it. fuel system/braking/rearend.
