Strong fuel odor when AC is on.....

Its freakin hot here in AZ.So when I turn on my AC on,i get a strong fuel odor in the cabin.There's no odor or smell when i roll the windows up and no AC. Anyone have this issue? Thanks

Fuel lines in the engine bay.

Are those lines prone to leak? I've used the search but couldn't find anything.Are the nylon fittings usually a problem?

I've also checked the lines while the car was idling and AC on max and no leaks.....

make sure your canister purge solenoid is working properly

I checked the charcoal canister lines and 1 was disconnected.I re connected the line but the odor is still there,any tips on how to check the solenoid or how to clean it?

I dont think you can clean it if it does not work you get a code

I have the same problem with my 98 4.6L. Any suggestions besides the vapor canister?
