hey hes it going guys i just pu in a B cam in mt gts and it has some issues staying alive...it starts for like 1 sec then it dies even if i hold the throttle all the way down it still dies i checkes the plugs ,timing, fuel and ari its getting all that but it wont stay on ..guys i need some help with this its a stubborn one and i have a while working with these specific models but this ones got me stuck..help me out any thing is welome thanks

yeah man even with the throttle opend to the ground and i checked that and its all selad not hoses are riped or pinched,but this car has had some serious ignition issues and all this car has is 24 plb,cold air,off road pipes and msd 6al...but man this thing is giving a hard time

I see you had a msd ign box. how about taking that out of the system. those have been known to cause problems from time to time.
It could also be fuel related. what is your fuel pressure doing when you start the car? It maybe a bad fuel pump, regulator, filter.
Another thing, the dizzy sends the signal to keep the fuel pump running.

how do you know your timing is right if it won't stay running. sounds to me that the timing is way off. bump the motor around to tdc on cylinder number one. hell just spin the motor over by hand so the timing pointer is at ZERO on the dampener. at that point the rotor should be a 1/4" to the right of cylinder number one post on the distributor cap. (mark the inside of the cap where number one is)... if it is pointing towards the radiator you have it 180 degrees out.

yeah it is at tdc... the car was running fine for about one minute when i removed to the spout to checks timing it shut off then i put it back in and thats when it started doing that.. i changed the maf the module and the ecm but its still acting up...and yeah the msd was out of the system too becuase ive had problrms with it before but its not that i guess either..

Do you have a maf calibrated for your 24lb injectors? Also have you gotten a tune to go along with that cam? If not that is going to cause serious issues.

Really cuase i have a another 95 with an E cam and 24 pnders and it hasnt gave me this problem...but yeah i do have the maf with the injectors....how much does a dyno tune run for any way?
