Anyone have any opinion on this tire? Or any personal experience with it? Would like to know what you guys think about it?

Exact reason I wont buy them... Right now I have nitto 555's on my 98 gt. The only reason was I needed new tires and I found a complete set brand new on 2002 GT wheels for 350 bucks with a spare!! could not pass that up. The guy I bought them from was Loaded with cash and was turning his GT into a full race car and just had the stock 4.6 built up and was putting slicks on the car.

Two of my friends run bald ass Sumitomo's and they haven't had em that long... tractionless when they got 'em, lots worse now. I run BFG G-force Sports and they're great, I've had no complaints and they grip pretty good in the dry and the rain.

I need the G Force sports in 315/35-17. I cant find them and dont want to pay 1k for tires buying F1's

IM trying to find some tires, But the 315's are very limited.. can I mix a back tire with a front tire. as long as the two rear tires match, and the two fronts match?

The 315's do run smaller. I am glad they do since I would have had some serious fitment issues with a wider 315 tire. The 245's don't seem to be smaller though. If anything. they are wider than the 245 Goodyear Eagles I replaced them with. I sure do like my Nitto's. Nice and sticky and perform well on wet roads.

Im not sure if their is a big difference in the htrz 2's or what. I definetly know that mine have a very different tread pattern and I have no real complaints about them. They are ok in the rain as long as you dont get on it, the wear is decent. So maybe the tires are just that different or I might of just got a lucky set?

This is an interesting thread, because I have them in 315's also and they seem to be fine. They are load, but I have no sound deadening in my trunk right now so I cannot blame them at this point. In the rain, they are so much better than my Nitto drag radials and I have not had any issues with the lack of traction most are describing.

On another note, I have 315 35 17 Michelin Pilot, which seems to be one of very few ever made. They discontinued the tire early last year and I picked this one up for $25 knowing that I likely would never be able to match it up, so it will be used as a spare when I get another 17 x 10.5 Cobra R wheel. I kind of wish I could find another one, because the Michelin Pilots have been the best tires that I have ever run on my car, just too expensive in my current situation.

Late.

Well I have a full set of 255 45 17's I believe is the size I got them for 50 bucks and a little help moving from a friend who wrecked his car. Tires were probably 4 months old and were almost new in condition. I put them on and it's been a little less than a year and with all rotations and maintaining the pressure in all of them and normal driving they are worn out almost. Still some tread left but not much. Not much traction as well rain or shine. They seem to be an alright tire but for the price he paid, 140 per tire I think they're not worth it. I paid 99.00 each for a set of kumho ecsta 245/45 17's and they lasted much longer and was less noisy and rode better to me. but hey I got a deal so I can't complain that's just my opinion on them. I wouldn't buy them again.
