Even though I just got the cobra r's on my car, I have been kicking around the idea of buying some Summit Racing Fast Five wheels. I tried google image searching to no avail but I was thinking of running the 17x7s or 8s on the front so maybe I could use my stock tires and a set of 15x8s or 15x10s on the back. I dont really want to run 4" wide front wheels because I had them on my 84 and they were fine most of the time but a little sketchy on the highway. What do you guys think? Anyone running a similar combo?

Never seen those wheels before. I'm assuming a big and little set up? Also, if you are referring to the wheels in your sig as Cobra R's, I believe you are mistaken and those 98 Cobra wheels. That may not be your car though, I'm just assuming.

yes I am referring to a sort of big and little setup and I never realized that these were oem 98 cobra wheels. Thank you for pointing that out, I googled it and you are correct. I wondered why someone said they looked different from their cobra r wheels.

Well big and littles fit SN95's really well so you can't go wrong there. No problem; I knew they looked different lol. Much better looking than Cobra R's. I'm gonna find a set of those one day and have the rears widened to fit a 315 tire.

are yours the warrior r/t's? I really liked the look of the skinnies up front and I'm not a corner carver, more of a cruiser, but I know on that car it didnt seem real stable on the highway. Forcefed how does yours handle it?

Yes warrior r/t's.. And not sure about highway.. But hoping at the track the fronts won't see much ground time :)....

I havnt had it out yet this year on this combo.. Only real advise is to get front runners instead of just a set of 165/80/15 it will make a world of difference I'm gonna be looking for a nice set of m&h's or equals.
