One of the styling quirks that has always bothered me about the SN95 front end is how the black rubber side marker trim stops abruptly at the headlights. It almost looks like the lights don't fit properly.
As I was removing the ugly front license plate carrier from my 1998 SVT Cobra and polishing up the headlights, I had an idea for a simple upgrade. The idea was to apply "eye-liner" to the headlights, in the form of a strip of automotive vinyl wrap (matte black). So I bought a small amount of the wrap material and cut two 5/8-inch x 12-inch strips. Then I applied these to the top edge of the headlights. Results are below...
I don't expect induction into the Car Mod Hall of Fame for this , but I think it looks a lot nicer... so does removing that hideous front license plate holder.
