surging on ligh throttle?

my car seems like when im driving it at light throttle its surging! kind of like im hitting the brakes a litlle bit on and off. when i get on it hard it doesnt do it. i changed out the wires to app3923, wires, and a motorcraft fuel filter. i even thought that it was tranny so i changed out the tranny fluid still does it. know the guy who i bought the car off said he had it tuned to the same setup that i got the car in. seen then i only did tune up and went from a ram air setup to cold air in fender.! would this do it? car runs and idles fine. idk im very confused someone please help.

first make sure that the wires are not gounding to the exhaust manifold/headers,
second check sparkplugs and maybe change them,
third clean mass air and throttle body,
fourth check cap and rotor for wear and maybe change them,
fifth check if the differential has some play, if it does, change it,
sixth check harmonic balancer for wear and if the rubbber is out change it,
seventh check timing and adjust it,

If all of this doesn't work please take a video of it so we can see and hear what it's like.

A mods list would help in giving you advise.

the fact that you are running 3923 plugs tells me that you dont have stock heads.... My question though is why in the world are you using platinum plugs? You should be using copper core plugs

do you have egr. my car use to do that before i had it turned off

i gave hawk performance heads 210cc. no egr valve. the car used to have regular copper core plugs in it autolite 3923. do yo guys think that maybe changing from the plugs did it. im using a .45 gap maybe i should go to a .50 gap. or maybe going from short ram air intake to cold air intake did it idk..

Is it at all speeds in any gear? Or is it just slow at part throttle? What rear end gears do you have? What transmission?

hey guys whats up! i finally found out what was makeing my car jerk , feel like im hiting brakes a 20 % throttle. my car was tunning fo r a ram air intake. then i put on the cold air intake. that what made my car bog. it was the intake. so i put the short ram air back on to the maf and bam. nothing. no bogging surging nothing...thanks for all your help fellas
