I run the blue oval industries cheapos... they look to be made by the same manufacture as GMS. I have had no problems with them.

A few years ago, I was in your boat. I read a lot, saw all the ads for this that and the other thing.. wanted to make my car handle better but didn't have a ton of $$ to do it. I bought Steeda Sport Springs and Tokico Shocks/Struts and CC plates. I had the suspension set up for aggresive street driving with more caster and -camber. The car handled better but still hopped over bumps and the rest..

So, after really getting into the cars geometry and learning the short comings, I installed a panhard bar and Torque arm. The problems with Mustangs are in the back suspension, not the front. This single change will give you the most bang for the buck. Then when money allows, install the tubular k-frame up front, c/o shocks and struts and you will have a car that will handle like you've never thought possible.

I agree with NYC94GT, I installed a complete MM suspension this spring and I can't be happier with the results. The torque arm & panhard bar eliminates wheel hop, even with my less than elegant driving style (albeit the motor is still almost stock). I wasn't able to make it out to any AutoX events this summer, but in the long sweeping on/off ramps you can actually feel the g's pulling at your face :naughty:

IMHO, I think suspension is one area that you shouldn't cheap out on... it's the only thing between you and the canyon wall....

The only thing I regret is not getting the HD torque arm... MM suspension products are worth every penny.

+2 to this Bany, I have full MM supsension minus the K member, and it is amazing how precise the car handles. O0

you know. i've decided to go ahead and order the upr control arm kit. looks better and not too knocked off. and i ordered some pulleys since mine make noises. ive decided with the bbk pulleys. in the past week, ive ordered quite a bit of bolt ons. and starting on the suspension. i came across an oppurtunity from a co-worker who sold his 96 but sold it stock. since i'm modding mine ive decided to take his parts he never put on. a reconditioned t-45, pi swap with stage 2 cams and a front coil kit for 500 bucks. lovely how military has its advantages. and since im new at the manual deal. why not. as time goes on, i can build this tranny slowly. so its also educational. :dancing6:

I would stiffen the body before you do any thing else. Alot of HP and torque is lost in body flex. If you stiffen the body and then do the suspension you will see better handling and some extra HP
