hmm! that really suck's I think you should forget about it and sell them to me! lol...

if it has an edge that matches up with the body along the top of the skirt than I say some 3m molding tape will hold them on just fine...

Make sure that you wipe ALL areas that the tape will be touching with denatured alcohol to get every bit of road grime and contamination off. If you miss 1 spot the tape will not stay on very long and will eventually come off. It happened to me with my Saleen side skirts. I got in a big rush and now I have to do it all over again. Me dumb :BangHead: :tard:

you can use tape but it better be some really really REALLY good stuff. Mine are attached with an industrial epoxy and painted over. IF you don't do those right you should just go and jump up and down on them as that is what the end result will be. Unfortunatly noting about the side exhaust is cheap from buying to installing it, its one of those things where you have to pay to play but when you get it done it is tits! I get more comments on it then any other part of the car.

The 3m will do the job right! if you clean the area correctly with alcohol first! I have my sidescoops on with 3m tape and run the car through the car wash and I have never lost a scoop on any of the sn's that I have owned that had them installed.... which is quite a few!

my svo side skirts bolted in on the ends and the only thing the 3m tape was necessary for was attaching the top of the skirt to the body.

I could make an svo decal for whom ever wanted that style.

Good catch though but with as hard as it will be to find those again i would not go double stick tape.

tape wears out over time PERIOD. The change in the seasons, exposure to moisture, dust, dirt and vibrations all made me decide to make it as perminant as possible. Now if I ever rip them off I will have a hell of alot of work but why would I do that?

Venom those are sharp, I found some ABC ones local for a price I couldn't pass on but I'd probably get rid of them if i found a nice set of SVO, just for the fact that they're rare.

if you use the 3M like we use @ my job and like the 3M that i know AM uses on there stainless bumper inserts(same tape). 3M Autpmotive something i believe. but we use it to hol on wall panals and alot of other uses in our custom ambulances. after a a day o 2 of sticking.... NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to remove without som stron chemicals. thats what we have to use to remove it. that and ALOT of hardcore scraping. so dont worry about the tape not holding if its the right tape and put on CORRECTLY!
